Summary: The location was close to downtown attractions. We were able to walk everywhere, including Te Papa and the wharf area, Mt Victoria lookout, Cuba Street Mall, Lambton Quay, the cable car, the botanical gardens, and the Beehive and the parliament buildings. We enjoyed our third floor room with the slanted glass ceiling. The only drawback was the shower arrangement. Despite our best efforts the shower splashed outside the curtains and got the bathroom floor all wet.
